Every manner of pull-up has its diehard fans. Wide and narrow grip, single and double suspension points, wide handle, rotating bar, slow, strict, kipping, butter fly, weighted, and behind the head all have their staunch supporters.
Kipping comes in a myriad of styles, and each athlete has a signature kip, but in its most elegant form the kip is a transference of movement first generated in the horizontal plane, where it comes cheap and easy, to the vertical plane, where momentum and a perfectly timed pull from the back launch the athlete forcefully upward. Sounds fun!
This Saturday Feb 22, 2014 at 11:00 am we will hold a Kipping Clinic for all CFUN Athletes. This class will focus on form, style, power, intensity, coordination, and agility. So, whether you are new to the kip or seasoned this class is for you! Sign up today for the Saturday "Skills Clinic" on WODTogether to reserve your spot.
